Furthermore, there are also documents and materials, such as (white) papers, videos, image material, advertising material and event documentation available for download. For authorized (software) users, there is also the option of downloading software and software updates as well as viewing FAQs, the Online Library, videos and the current status of software licenses / usage.

Use of the services described above requires you to register on our website. For the purpose of registration, we need particulars concerning your name, title, gender, email address, business address, business telephone number and country.

Data acquisition when you subscribe to our newsletter

You also have the option of subscribing to our newsletter via our website. This publication conveys to you technical information, information about our events and about the products and services we offer.

Data acquisition when you register for events, courses and training sessions

You have the opportunity to register on our website for events, such as training sessions, user meetings, conferences or other events.

To register for and participate in our events requires you to register on our website. For the purpose of registration and invoicing, we need particulars concerning your name, title, gender, email address, job title, department, business address, sector, business telephone number and country. 

As a participant, you receive a name tag for identification at our onsite events which you can wear voluntarily so it is visible. This name tag contains the following data: Name, title, company name, job title and country. 

For online events your personal data (such as name, title, company name, job title, email address, telephone number and country) you provide when you join the event are available for all participants by default. As participant at an online events you can choose freely whether you use and share audio or video. In case of recording you will be informed upfront about the recording and your options if you don’t want to be recorded. Please have a look on specific data protection information, which might be provided for certain events upfront you join.

Data acquisition for competitions / submission of ideas

On our website or on selected events via email, you have the opportunity to submit papers, presentation and other exhibition materials (e.g. photos, videos, documents). 

Participating in these competitions requires you to register on our website as well as to submit your idea. For the purpose of registration and later contact with you, we need particulars concerning your name, title, gender, email address, business address, business telephone number, country and a description of your idea.

Data acquisition for call for papers, presentations and other exhibition materials

On our website, you have the opportunity to submit papers or presentation. 

For the purpose of submission, we are requesting the following personal data:  your name, function, company, contact data, picture and brief biography. Your submissions will be provided together with your personal data to other participants of events in the download area of this website and on the event itself. Please note that you have to ensure compliance with copyright laws and data protection laws for your submissions.

Data acquisition in case of customer relationship, for replying customer inquiries

For the purpose of initiating or fulfilling customer order, replying to inquiries or submission of information we process your name, position, email address, phone number, address, language and gender.

Data acquisition when you take part in a survey or poll

For the purpose of enhancing our products and services as well as to get feedback from you, you can voluntarily take part in a survey or poll made available by us. In case surveys or polls are not anonymized we process your name, your email address, your company information, language and gender as well as personal information you provide to us in the course of the survey or poll.

Our website uses embedded videos of the external service provider YouTube, a video service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland („Google“). Third-party session cookies are set by YouTube when videos are embedded.

Duration of data storage

In the event that a contract is concluded, all of the data from the contractual relationship is stored until the expiration of the statutory safekeeping period. Concerning data which we have obtained on the basis of your consent, these are stored for the duration of the validity of your consent until further notice. The user data which are based on consent are stored for a period of five years as of our last contact in case there is no withdrawal. After expiration of the time period, the data are routinely erased provided they are no longer required for contract fulfillment or the initiation of a contract.
